Weekly Weigh Days #19 and #20: Phooey

For some reason, I’m having a hard time remembering to post my updates as they happen, so I’m doing another double post. Last week, I stayed the same:

+/-0 pounds

This week, I’m back up:

+2 pounds

I was surprised at that because I thought I was doing reasonably well. I have not gotten back on a complete low-carb diet as I had planned, but I am managing portions and trying not to snack “just because.” I think that because there have been so many things going on in my life it’s been hard to focus on health at the same time.

I have decided, though, that even if progress is very slow, I’ll take it. Of course, this week was progress in the wrong direction, but 2 pounds is certainly not an unheard-of fluctuation, so I’m not panicking.
